Marion Deuchars, creator of Bob, the Artist and long-time Islington local, brings her bold graphic style to the Maggie & Rose Café this autumn, to teach a lesson that resonates with our ethos at Maggie & Rose deeply. Bob, the Artist is an affirming tale for little ones age 3 years and older, about the power of art and of being confident enough to be yourself.
With Marion’s strikingly beautiful illustrations lining the café walls and windows, little ones will have the opportunity to contribute their own artworks to the exhibition, as well as enjoy a program of family events and activities throughout the festival including a treasure hunt around Islington Square, craft activities and author readings.
